Press reviews for: Developing the Craft of Mediation
Dispute Resolution Journal
While there is no shortage of how-to books for mediators, works focusing on the voice of the mediator are rare. This book aims to fill that void by highlighting the perspectives of 16 mediators on a variety of topics, ranging from what motivates them to their different mediation styles and approaches.
Resolution Newsletter, and www.resolution.org.uk
I recommend this book to all mediators in whichever discipline they practise and with it the implicit challenge - to know and develop our craft.
ACResolution
Roberts does an excellent job of presenting a kaleidoscope of experiences and ideologies to stimulate our thinking about the future of meditation.
Quakers in Criminal Justice
Marian Roberts explores the subject of mediation from all angles in this comprehensive volume, which is based on guided interviews from practitioners involved in many different types of mediation. Their reflections, in themed contributions, make up the bulk of the book. I recommend this book to anyone interested in the craft of Mediation.
